Blake Clayton
For years Blake has been an OBSESSED fan of Hank Williams. About six years ago, he stumbled upon that honky-tonking, punk rocking, grandson of a legend Hank III. From that day on a mass of music dropped into Blake’s hands. Bands like Split Lip Rayfield, The Meat Purveyors, and Scott H. Biram showed him that there was REAL country music still out there. It wasn’t long before Blake broke any and all ties with being a fan of Corporate Nashville and the music that they forced down our throats. Blake felt that he had to make this REAL music known to the masses and what better way than to start up a podcast. So It Burns When I Pee was born and the first episode was released in May of 2007. Music is Blake’s life. He can reference countless song lyrics that can describe any feeling or emotion that he is feeling. To him, IBWIP isn’t just a podcast that plays songs that he likes, it’s more of a way to express what he is feeling and going through. For Blake it goes 1.) His children 2.) Hank Williams 3.) God
